Anyways, with all that is going on in his life, he finds he cannot take the time to go and play the fiancee-role for a house party planned by Charlotte's family, to celebrate the engagement. He is a busy man, with his various business and political endeavours, and this ticks off another one of his life tasks/expectations. ![]() Miles, the marquess in question, figures that he has to marry anyways, so why not offer for Miss Grisham, as she meets the social standards for being a marchioness. I received a copy of this from BookSprout and this is my freely given opinion. ![]()
